In 1589 on 40,000 acres of land near Cork, Ireland Sir Walter Raleigh introduced the Potato to Ireland from Peru.
Full of vitamins and grows in poor soil. The Irish also exported the crop. However in the 1840’s disease hit the
potatoes and there was a great famine. Many Irish immigrated to the United States at the time – over 1 million.

Ireland’s first wooden coaster opened to the public on Friday 5th June 2015, we were able to try it out the day before and it’s AWESOME!
The coaster is built by the Gravity Group, and is being billed as “The largest wooden roller coaster of it’s kind in Europe”
